Hi I'm new to the site and could really use the help.

My 2000 dodge durango lost all power I put in a new die hard battery but it will not turn on dashboard lights plus there it a clicking sound behind dashboard when I insert the key. Can anyone tell me if it's a bad computer or shorted wires?

Sounds like you have a bad ground or loose connection somewhere. Look at your grounds to see if they are corroded then clean them and apply dielectric grease. Make sure battery connections are tight and clean, apply the grease there too.

Even if they look clean use a wire brush on the terminals and the battery posts. Some corrosion is pretty glassy and hard to see.

There is no corrosion on the battery or wires. My radiator exploded water all over and I lost all power. Not even the dash lights come on, I'm being told that the computer is fried because of it
