Default heart transplant

any one know if i can swap to a 5.9 motor and matching tranny and possibly keep parts like ac compressor , ps pump, altenator ect. and obviously i would hunt down an rt computer from a junkyard no im not crazy i have invested over 11000 bucks in the beast in the past 7 months so just getting an rt seems dumb i guess

It's a large request but if you search the work "swap" without the quotes into the search page it will give you all the info you need.

ok so its clear the 5.9 /5.7/5.2 is a bad idea any one now any thing about the new high output 4.7 series in the second gen durangos over 300 horse stock seems appealing if anyone knows if they are compatible to swap could bore,intake,program,cams,what ever to get more power

I'm sure that would bolt up but you may not be able to run it properly due to differences in sensors. I'm sure you would have to run a different PCM.

Does anyone think it would be possible to swap a 360ci in a 2000 Durango with one of the new SRT-8 6.1L V8? How much modification do you think would be needed and how much might it cost?
