I have a base model durango and as I was looking under the front bumper I noticed the fog light wiring harness, then noticed that behind the trim on the dash the harness for the fog lights my question is if i installed fog lights and a factory switch will the lights work as if they were installed from the factory, and is the wiring and harnesses all the same, meaning is the wiring all there for options like the over head console and other options

Im not 100% about that but its worth i try i guess. One thing to remember is (well my 99 slt D) the fog light system works as a ground (Power always hot, switch provides ground to turn on) so the lights must be isolated from metal mounts if aftermarket. For the overhead i'd say check it out for the harness, see if its up there.
