those out there with amps..where did you run your wire thru? i've got a pretty damn thick amp wire i'm looking for a place to run. i don't want to run thru the door because it doesn't shut the door right plus it bends the wire or w/e

so...thru were? i'm also trying to avoid drilling holes

 

I popped it thru a grommet that was already on the firewall. Take a metal coathanger and start poking from the inside. I ran it along the door sill all the way to the back and thru the floor compartment. NEVER Run your wire THRU or AROUND the DOOR! I have seen Many fires caused from this!

 

i'm doing that tommorow. i just ran it thru the door for now (it's 1 in the morning and i'm beat!) and i'm gonna try that grommet thing you said

i only saw the hood latch cable grommet i'm not sure if that's the one or not
but i don't ever know if i've got a metal coat hanger..(so rare these days)
