Default Help!!!

For the old timers around here its me, IM BACK AGAIN. Everything has been great with my D for a long time! Me and Tani1500 did the T/S lift on my truck. Looks/works great! However, i just SMOKED my stock amp. IDK wtf happend, the two audio power amplifying chips inside the amp burnt (literaly melted). I pulled it all apart, i can order the new pieces and solder them into the curcuit board but that a real P.I.A. So i shot over to ebay and found a stock amp from a 1998 Dodge Intrepid. Its the identical 36670 one its out of another dodge with the infinity system. I know that im normaly fairly electronicly savvy but im looking to see if anyone knows for sure that this is the identical harness? Its 14pin in and 10pin out but than again i know Jeep has 14in 10out but if u hook up a Dodge one to it itll DESTROY it. So im just lookin to see if anyone knows if the two are compatible? Any suggestions, ideas, notes, even just a hint would help. This thing off ebay is like 50 bucks when id have to order it new for like 275, and if i did that id just go out and bypass infinity and redo the entire sound system wiring.

Yepp! Im back! Ive been around. Alotta school work and $h!t. I decided to nix the whole replace the infinity amp Idea. Decided that ive been wanting to overhaul the entire sound system so i did it. Today i gutted it all. Tore everything out, replaced the amp with a new one and bypassed the infinity amp. Replaced all the speaks with new Alpines and New tweeters too. However it dawned on me that IDK which wires are the sound wires that used to feed the amp. I mean like coming from the head unit, what color wires are the ones that i should hook up to my new amp. I cannot decifer them. I know which ones are after the amp to the speakers but i cant figure out which 4 wires im looking for to feed the amp (Front Right +, Front Right -, Front Left +, Front Left -) you know?

Yeah. A while back when gas prices were rediculous i wanted to sell it. Now that gas has gone down and i drive a lot less because I'm in school it doesn't matter any more. :-) Just finished the sound system. I guessed and checked on which were the audio wires. Figured it out eventualy. What a headache it is to bypass the infinity amp. UGH!!! So now im up to a 400 watt amp for the door speakers and a 1000w on the 12's. :-) Alpine S-Type's in the doors (left the infinity tweeters cuz they werent broke and i didnt wanna get into that). :-P

So.... whats new with everyone!? Anyone get a new Dodge? Anyone do any major work?!?

Nope...

School, work, wife and kids for me. No time to think about pampering the D lately. I'll be finished with school this summer and then I'll be working 2 jobs while my wife goes back to school...
