Default Blinkers

I have a 1999 Durango with a problem with the blinkers. If the truck is hot and I turn the blinkers on they will only blink ONE time and stop. If the truck is cold they will blink three or four times and then stop. Can anyone tell me what I can check to take care of this problem? Thanks Jerome

It sounds like your blinker relay is pretty much fried. This was a dealer only item when I went to look for one at $45. Depending on where you live it could be cheaper and is a pretty simple swap once you locate it. It is located on the fuse block inside the truck. The problem is that it isn't on the outside with all of the mini fuses but under the dash on the opposite side.
