Default 98 Durango cd plyr wont take cds

I ejected a cd and was trying to put another one in when the player wouldnt take it. It felt like something was in there blocking it but I know nothing was put in because I just took a cd out, which was playing fine.

My 15 yr old daughter was with me and she tried, with a little force, and it still wouldnt take it but the cd got stuck about 3/4 way in.

Does anyone know what could be wrong and can it be fixed or do I need to replace it?

TIA!

Thanks again!

If you have an mp3 player or portable cd player you can get a Fm transmiter that will play the sound through the radio. walmart sells them for $10

No prob... I like to keep things positive
It requires two aaa Batteries, just to let you know? you may just be satisfied with the sound quality.

Heck I saw some of those that plug into the power outlet and even others that work off of the mp3 player's battery.
