Default iPod Hook-Up In 2000 Durango

[:@] I have bought an iPod for my personal use. I would like to hook it up to the stock head unit besides using the tape deck, which reduces the quality of the audio. Is there a part or something I can buy for the headunit to hook up the iPod?

With the Ipod there's a part you can buy that does RF (radio frequency) modulation. So you just set you deck to a specific radio frequency and fire up the Ipod and you have music.

Go to http://www.pie.net there you can find all sort of connectors.

I have a DVD system on mine and I bought the cable from them to connect to the back of my head unit (into the CD changer port) this gives me perfect sound in comparison to when I had the FM modulator which always had static.

Good luck.
