hey does anyone know the inlet size of the muffler on a 2002 5.9 R/T? i want to get a flowmaster on it but they have 2.25", 2.5", and 3" not sure which one i have to get. also, does anyone know the best series to get? i'm looking at a series 44. thanks!

 

Yours is 2.5 in and out. I would suggest the original FM 40. It is louder than the super 40. It is all personal preference though and I think that you can listen to exhaust clips on their site to find the tone you're looking for. If nothing else check out youtube there are plenty of exhaust clips on there.

 

I have the single in dual out Flowmaster American Thunder, dont really have any good sound clips except the one i did with my camera last year... Im taking mine out soon when the weathers nice to go with a quiet single 3" with a secondary E-cutout. Maybe if your still looking you can have mine xD
