Default window off track?

my window is not workin at all. the window falls down and ive had to prop it up with tape and cardboard. I can hear the motor running when i try to work it and when i took the door panel off the cables are fine (no snaps or frays) but i couldnt really see much else. so i got a couple of questions

1. is the window just off track? if so can i fix this easily myself?

2. Or is it the window regulator? I had one go out on another door and got charged 350 for the fix. is there any place i can get a cheaper part and would yall recommended fixing this myself?

Fix it yourself for sure it isn't a tough problem. Normally it is the cable that snaps but I guess we've been through that already. Pull the panel off and just start digging around you are bound to find the problem. It is likely you will have to buy a whole new assembly though.
