Default auto trannys

I have a 1998 Durango that has 161000 miles on it.I just put a new motor in it and know I have to put in a new tranny.
The tranny that's in it slips really bad and some times will not shift untill it is running at a real high RPM .
I had a new filter and gasket put in when the motor was changed
Were can I get the best priced one out there.
My Durango is a 4X4 with a 5.2

Have you had it serviced? The bands need adjusting.

I do not suggest you get one thats cheap!

I've been there and you don't want to be there. Call Dan at www.thefastman.com and he'll hook you up with a great build. Tell him you are part of the DF and he'll give you a credit.

While you have the motor out make sure you install a new oil pump!!!!! Also the other usual things. Check this out: Longevity & Power Of Your Rig! Theres lots of great info about building in there!
