turbo charging my durango?
NOS is an acceptable HP option IMO. The issues are the more you use the more you want to up the level and sooner or later... bang. There's a hole in that plastic intake manifold. If you can keep it under control and have a good bottle refill supplier, no troubles, easier and a lot less costly. Most want a Nitro Funny car type of pull coming off the line and you aren't getting that NOS or a SC. Buy another rig right.

Judging from the pics of the custom ****y muffler and oil spray noted on the fuel tank I would be safe to assume there is going to be some over staitments here.......LOL

Second, the issues with NOS'ing a 6.7L and a 4.7L are two different puppies.
Third, I think this guy modded a 360 into a 408.
Forth and final, I run an un-verified 852 hp because I have stickers!

Hey,I hope I didn't start a catfish noodlin contest with that link...
I found a link with the low down and high points of 4.7 engine...
I still think nos is the lowest priced and safest if installed properly on a stock motor vs other power adders, since you will be less likely to activate it on say a winding road where as a blower or turbo can kick in at the worst times especially if your right foot has tourrete's syndrome

There always a little fun to be poked........ so......poke, poke, poke
Anyway, putting a turbo on a OEM 4.7L isn't the best thing to do as well as NOS without beafing things up.
