I rigged a water separator into to pcv line and put a reducer the size of a 5/64 drillbit inside the rubber tubing before the separator because when I first rigged a clear view fuel filter in=I found oil being sucked in as well as oil crud--now therestill is plenty of vaccum even with the reducer in place and the oil separator on catchs very little oil in it now...idle is better and acceleration too, probably from limiting the vaccum being lost to the crankcase and increasing the velocity of the air charge........I read about someone doing a pcv enchancement an it got me thinkin==I think it might have been you,DRO,that first mentioned a pcv enhancer-atleast somebody on this forum did..
I'll post a pic of my setup.. but I'm thinkin about deleting the pcv an running a split line into the airhat to get rid of the pcv vaccum canabalism..

Yeah I brought it up a while back when we started that HHO thread. My setup works great for trapin the oil vapors. I never knew that much oil goes back into the intake. The pics are not as bad as a up close in person view. There is way more film than the pics can capture.
Now I'm not going to say the way mine setup is the best possible setup, but it is one I'd recommend to anyone wantin to give it a whirl

A friend of mine brought this point up to me that if my motor actually has 190272 miles on it might it be possible that the oil that is being sucked into the intake tract may actually have hepled the truck attain the high miles?
I don't know if the engine was ever replaced, but if it goes for another 40,000 if I leave the pcv unfiltered and use a quart a month is that worth while over takin the oil out of the equation..
Damn,I'm goin drink another beer and ponder this!
