My transmission broke down, this is a 5.2L 4x4 Durango 98 and I wanna put in another transmission, need to know which one will fit.
this mechanic says any automatic transmission from a 1998-2003 8 cylinder PickUp or Durango will fit, but what about the electric plug. I need a second opinion so I´m asking for an advise.
Will appreciate any coments about it.

I would find out what transmission you have in your Durango and get the same exact one put in. If you use a different one it might not bolt up the same or not even work in your D...
