Default Alpine Amp Question

I've got an Alpine amp on the way from Crutchfield (incredible site by the way) and I'm going to run the four door speaker through it. So here is my question: Where should I install the amp? I know that under the passenger seat is probably a good idea with most amp, but I've heard that this particular amp (MRP-F300) has some over-heating issues. Also, do i need to worry about the stock amp? I'm going to replace all of the speaker wire in the car if that makes any difference.

I would put it under the middle of the 2nd rear seats consitering it's a dead spot and it keeps it away from the heater and kicking. Although it won't fully keep it away from heat I jut find it to be a great area not to mention close to the speakers.......IMHO

There is a couple of graments that you can run through that other wires run through to get to the engine.
