Default A/C and Heater don't work @ idle

During the summer my A/C started acting up. A/C Doesn't blow cold air when truck is sitting idle Dealer said the condersor was the cause, but since it was late summer I decided to wait until Sping to take care of it.

Now it gets weird.

It is winter here in Chicago and I need the heat more than ever. Now that I need the heat and not the A/C, the darn heater is doing the same thing that the A/C was doing, it won't heat up or blow warm air when idle.

Everything is good once I hit the pedal and maintain a decent RPM.

I wouldn't think a condensor would cause this? What could be the cause since both my A/C and heater are being affected?

I plan to change the condersor since I bought a new one anyway, but I would have been disappointed once I got the thing on there and the problem still remained. So I need some help. Thanks.!!!!

Same here, I think it's more of a Durango Design thing, my heat and A/C don't really do much until your movin down the road, I just kinda deal with it.
