Default 2 amps, 1 capacitor

I have a 4 channel amp running the door speakers in my car already. I'm adding a mono block amp to run my 2 12in JL W3s. The 4 channel amp has a 8 gauge power wire (with fuse). The mono block amp has a 4 gauge power wire (with fuse). I also have a spare 4 gauge power wire (with fuse). The capacitor itself is made for 4 gauge wire. When i went to Best Buy to see how much they charge to install it, they tried to tell me that they would be charging for the capacitor install and for two amp installs because they have to rewire it. Now for my question: How can I do it myself without spending an arm and a leg?

What is it your doing, just installing one amp? Since you mentioned its already in your car. All you would have to do to install the subs amp is run the 4g power from the batt to the capacitor to the amp, single ground from capacitor to floor/singel from amp to floor, trigger (aka Antenna) lead from HU to amp (If stock HU just run from IG on source)-and RCA's from HU to Amp (Tapped if stock HU)

You wouldnt run the capacitor to the 4channel (doors) amp..

I've heard that running two amps of off one battery. So that's why I'm wanting to run both amps through one capacitor. But would it be ok to run two amps through one battery? Because that would make the install 100% easier.

2 amps off a battery is fine, the capacitor is only for big draws (Heavy bass) which isnt needed for any 4channel amps (door speakers-not subs).
What size mono amp you have?

This is how i set mine up to demo it for sale, it'll be close to yours. I only kept one 4g to run both amps (Underpowered) without the 500k capacitor. Dont even look at the triple 8 ground . haha didnt want to cut up some new wire i had because i already sold that wiring, but it still kicked hard and they loved it, still pushed upwards 140+. My 4 channel in the second pic runs an 8g to the batt, never had any problems.
