How to replace inner door handle 1999 Durango
I am working on a window problem. While removing the door panel, it slipped and snapped off the part on the inner door handle (drivers side) that the rod clips into.
It appears that the inner handle assembly is "melded"? instead of screwed to the door panel? Can this be replaced? Thanks for any help.
I've searched Google till I'm cross eyed, nothing on replacement inner handles, or repair/replace that I can find.

It should have plastic clips holding it in from the back side. (the entire handle) You have to try to pry those apart, ur going to break a few and need to replace them with new ones, similar ones or tiny nut/bolt.
Thanks for the help. After much walking in the parts yard I found only one Durango picked over already. Just FYI for those that run across this same problem. "Both" left hand doors use the same inner door handle. Same part number. Same for the right I have found.
Although the one I found was cracked (the housing) you can gently pull the metal pin out and swap parts carefully.
Thanks for the help.
