Default Transmission Rebuild @ 66k

I just had my transmission rebuilt, and i was wondering do you need to like take apart the engine or radiator cause after i got my transmission rebuilt my radiator started to leak like crazy! well my question is this a new problem or a problem caused by the mechanics that fixed my transmission.

I'm sure someone else will know better.
I just had my trans rebuilt on my 99 and as far as I know they did not touch my radiator. That being said, I do not have a trans cooler on my truck. If you have one that might be about the only reason, and I could be wrong, I would think a shop would even need to come close to your radiator on a trans job. If that is the case then hopefully the dinks just forgot to tighten something up. Heck they left a trans line loose on my truck and I laid down fluid for a bit before i saw a line following me down the road.

Good luck to you.

The tranny lines do go through the radiator for cooling. It sounds like the shop damaged your radiator to me. I would pitch a fit and make sure that they replace the radiator since it "magically" appeared after your rebuld.

yup... they should of flushed the radiator to clean all the debree out so it would not break lose and destroy the new rebuild. So, the answer is yes if they done what they was supposed to do cleaning flushing the radiator is part of a tranny rebuild process.
