My 2003 has always averaged around 16-17 mixed driving. On the interstate loaded with cruise set at about 75 mph, she get 19-20 all day long. Up to mid-grade fuel and she not down 20 every time. But if you stand on it, were talking only 14-15 mpg, its all in how you drive.
Ya i don't go by the overhead but my best was around 19-20Mpg. Average would be 14-16mpg because i tend to have a lead foot. And honestly that is not really driving it that hard, if and when i do go have fun your looking at 10-12Mpg easy.
Yea, I get between 16-19 avg. It has gone up quite a bit, use to be 14-17 avg. I have a K&N drop in, new plugs and new tires. I also took the roof rack off, you may laugh, but I think it helps... Also looks better IMO.
I never believe the overhead. Mine reads 11.8 MPG's all the time no matter how much im pressing on the gas. I have always calculated mileage in my vehicles by diving miles driven by total gallons used per fill up. The D i bought for the wife gets about 15.3 MPG when she drives it during the week, but when I come home on the weekends, it goes down a good chunk. I got a lead foot. LOL
If you look through the menu on the over head it says ECO which is supposedly what you are getting right at that point.
I do use this and it does help my lead foot. I find myself watching that dang thing alot though, so I have to change it to the temp or direction just to stop watching it lol. News: Death by stupidity of watching his ECO.
Hehehe... That's why I'm the one directing them Hydra...LOL
Well there ya go fellas. Use our lead feet resposibly like when owning a ricer or getting off the line or merging on the freeway or coming out of our driveways... Ummmm... Never mind...LOL... Just drive resposibly!
