Default biggest set of tires

do you guys have any idea what the biggest set of tires i could fit on a 2001 dodge durango 4x4 slt? i currently have p265/70r16 size goodyear forteras. but they are getting worn out and im looking at some bf goodrich all terrains, i would like ot get the biggest tires possible with out any problems to the vehicle or fenders etc. thanks

a 31X10.5 LT 15 is the biggest but it is a 15 inch rim and you are asking for a 16.

I think it's 275 70 16. Check here:

Yes because they are 16 inch rims.... Apples to apples.

Hell, I installed 12 inch wide tires on 8 inch wide rims just fine before on a different ride. In fact, some extreme 4X4 users like this because it pushes the rims inside the tire to keep them from rubbing the rocks.
