Fan Pulley Burntout?

Unhappy Fan Pulley Burntout?

sittin in traffic yesterday, serpantine belt breaks and so I pulled to
the side and got a ride, went and got a new one replaced that.
But theres smoke pouring out of the pulley area where the fan
is attatched.....Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone
know how to fix this? I need this asap my truck is the only mode
of transport to work for me. thanx guys

is the fan stuck on comething that maybe you are burning the belt up?

and where in jersey are you? and which highway were you stuck in traffic on?

Sounds like you lost the bearing on the water pump?
