Default Something's killing the battery

A guy at work has a 98 Dakota, he says when he turns it off something will draw 5 amps from the battery for about 15 seconds, it stops then 2 minutes later something's drawing 5 amps again.
He pulled fuses 1 at a time and I think he said fuse 11 was the circuit doing it but ut was a hot source to the ignition switch or something.
Anyone have any experience with this kinda thing?
Thanks.

could be a fuel pump purge. I know many cars do it well after they are parked. Some Toyotas are 15 minutes into it when the start the purge.

Also, electric fan if he has one, etc.

Check the glove box light, the bed light, cig ashtray light, etc.

I have heard of the rear window wiper motor on a durango not fully go to the down position and keep the motor on trying to to get it all the way down. So, just an ideal of what e may be in for trying to find the drain.
