Default Burning Smell coming from belt next to radiator fan

When i start my car i hear clicking sound. sometime it will go away. its looks like the fan from the radiator is hitting the pulley or the belt. then later smoke and burning smell comes from the belt. what is going wrong?

sounds like you may have a pulley locking up on you causing ur belt to get hot and burn.

Well they may all spin but one could be seizing (taking force to get it to spin, where it should spin freely) If you are unable to locate it by sound alone the only thing I can think of is remove the belt and try to spin each one by hand. (of coarse ur not going to get the crank (bottom) pulley to spin lol).

So you have alternator
idle pulley
belt tensioner pulley
A/C pulley

Yes and yes most likely. I suggest to replace all, recharge. Don't run until so, I have heard of fires from locked up compressors. Don't want to see your D burned up.

Okay is this another question all together? Are you having transmission issue? NO do not put brake fluid in the transmission. If your transmission is slipping the first thing you need to so it head off to Autozone or Advance auto and have them pull the codes (depending on what year you have, some can pull codes fro the dash,2000-up) Get the codes and post them here and we will start with that.
When transmission starts to slip usually it is one of the 3
1 need filter fluid change and band adjustment
2 need filter fluid change and band adjustment and replace the all three sensors/regulators
3 Rebuild

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING INTO YOUR TRANSMISSDION OTHER THEN ATF+4

The clutchs and bearings are replaceable without removal of the motor.
