found the draw on the 2000 4x4,it was the lift gate switch!!! why it runs thru the trans fuse i don't know but it does.switch must have on the hairy edge of being made because the light on the dash was barely visible and flashing on and off.disconnected and all is well.thanks for the input dodge brothers.
