Default I'm afraid to shut off the D!

So I drove to Sesame Place with the family and we stopped at Boston Market to eat, it was like a 90 mile trip. Came out and couldn't start the D!  ?!?!?! Tried everything I knew, even disconnected the neg term for 30 secs. Thankfully, it started after that. Then drove to SP and had fun with the famly. We get back to the in-laws' and I shut her off again. Couldn't start AGAIN! Tried the neg term off trick, no go.  ?!?!?! Waited about 2 hrs and she started up again. Drove home thinking it was the long trip to and from SP. Nope! The trip home was like 10 miles and when I tried to restart it again she's uncooperative AGAIN! What the hell is going on? Any ideas from the gurus, Jedis and experts? HELP! I'm thinking it's the tranny control module. Cause when I try to shift the gears, the Neutral and Park Letters don't get highlighted by a square like the Drive and Reverse letters do. Maybe it's covered by the recall #s 07V555000 and/or 01V077000?

Sounds like a bad connection or bad solenoid on the starter. Have you had the battery load tested and cleaned the terminals (both battery and bolted ends).

Is it cranking over?

I've cleaned all the connections and recently changed the battery. An 800CCA unit! Seven year warranty from Mobil and AAA. I have to say, it looks very much like the aftermarket alarm system is going south. It goes off for no apparent reason and it may be due to a faulty starter disable unit in the alarm. The starter cranks very well and no clicking whatsoever. Some said it may be the neutral safety switch. But if it's just the alarm, I'm a happy man! $400+ for a new nss!

I put the alarm into valet mode so I can drive her w/o any problems. I'll get her checked out this weekend, time willing.
