Default 1998 durango tach issues

Ok so here it is. I have a 98 durango 4x4. That is where it stops, it was a 5.2 auto but now the engine is a 4bt cummins the trans is a 700r4 and the transfercase is a np231c.

Tha being said I am trying to hook up the tack but neither the haynes or the chiltons manuals will tell me what wire connects the PCM to the instrument cluster. Does anyone know what color the signal wire is going from the pcm to the tach guage.

I will have the wiring diagram if you PM me your email I can send it to you. The forum won't let me upload it for some reason.

Let me put it this way the conversion was a fun adventure for me. Some things I would change but most keep the same. For the short of it took a cummins 4bt (105hp- 300ft/lbs of torque) mated it up to a built 700r4 and np231c transfercase, removed a couple of frame mounts and then fabbed and welded on new ones. Sorted through piles of wires and there you have it. Alot to write but I do have lots of pics. I have been driving it since feb and made lots of mods since then and have been consistantly been getting 22 mpg city and 25 hwy. The engine is now squeezing out around 150hp now and the turbo is ramming about 25psi and it exhales through a 4" air hog exhaust system. I ordered a set of 50 hp injectors and a intercooler for it but just haven't gotten around to installing them. A/C was a challenge. But the biggest challenge was and is the trans. I bought it from Maddog transmissions (big mistake) it has got to be the worst trans I have had. I had to take it to a local shop to go through it due to the problems and I am still having a problem with the torque converter locking up. However I am very pleased with the outcome. Next SOS. Dana 44 highpinion from a 78 bronco.
