If there were no codes when we put it on a scanner, do I still need to reset the PCM?
People on allot of these forums know more then most mechanics about our vehicles.

Yes.

It doesn't matter if you through a CEL or not, if you change the flow design (in any way!) then a reset for the truck to re-learn the system that way it does what it's designed to do.

Do you have to? NO
But should you? Yes

The other thing you can do is set the TPS so that you have better responce and power. You should clean the TB and do this free modification:

Thanks. I will try to reset it this weekend. I want to clean the TB and do the TPS mod but may not be able to get to it until spring. Thanks for all the help and tips.
