Default Help I cant find the thump

When I come to a stop and let off the brakes there is a thump. When I back up and apply the brakes there is a thump. It is coming from the front driver side wheel. I taken the tire off and everything seems solid. Nothing is broken. I did notice a slight crack in the rotor. Would this cause the problem?

Any obvious failed part should be fixed to see if that corrects the issue. If you have a very dangerous situation in a cracked rotor, replace it and see if that was it.

Also, we are currently having a Troll problem in the forum with a Troll creating many new login IDs and posting up crap and questions and crap and questions. Since this is your 1st post, and your post has similarities to the Troll, until he is banned for good, don't be surprised if you posts get less than stellar responses. Until many know you are you and not him, you will not get the benefit of the doubt. Sorry about that, just the facts. Troll ruin it for everyone.

He looks good.

Yes you have a serious problem! Replace the rotors and brake pads.
