I'm thinking of switching to Duralast products, for the convenience and ease of warranty returns. I replaced my entire front end with Moog parts in May of 07. Since then I replace both lower ball joint (torn boots), left inner tie rod and the right outer tie rod. Today I did my pre-winter inspection, which showed I need to replace the idler arm and the right inner tie rod. All of the parts are Moog, is their quality going down? I don't go offroading, although some consider driving through NY potholes is like going offroading. The Moog parts were ordered through Rockauto and come with a lifetime warranty. All parts have or will be replaced. Which means the truck would down until the parts arrive and are installed. I have some spare parts which will keep me on the road, but 2yrs on Moog parts I might as well use Duralast. I can change them every 2yrs if need be and if they last longer it would be a plus. I do my own work, so labor charges don't apply. If you were me, what would you do?

If you can get the same warranty, Duras are fine.

Are you keeping the parts that you can lubricated? 2 years is def to short.

I check and lubricate with each oil change.

I may switch to Duralast, when Moog gets tired of sending replacements.

Well the Moog replacement parts arrived from Rockauto and I installed them today. The front end is nice n tight, I'll get the wheels aligned tomorrow.

Well somehow 1 upper got away from me as the drivers side upper is out again after 2 years. It was a Duralast but I'm going to replace them both in a week or so.
