My Durango just Reached 300 000 km


Just as the Exhaust Started to make Noise from the front .

Checked it out And the pipe is rusted out near the manifold. Where the two flanges come together . One flange rusted completely off . No Hole . Just leaks where the Pipes Come together

tried a little exhaust tape but working under the truck with no room is a Pain in Buttocks .

Still Making A Rumble . Will attempt to repair myself again

Any tips or suggestions from you guys ? Besides shelling out $$$ and going to a mechanic. the Easy way .

I like to Do things myself and Save $$$ when i can . Where i live there is No law / need for an Exhaust but it is Louder than usual

Does it suck more gas this way ? im told it does

Any Help is Appreciated

 

Tape or putty is your only option if you don't want to take it in for repairs at a muffler shop.
