Default Numerous codes

Hello,

I have a '00 Durango 4.7L. For a while the truck had a hard time starting, and I saw that the car was throwing the P0340 code (using the on-off on -off method, unfortunately i did not wait and see if there was another code after that, which is probobly messing me up now). I did some research here, and found out that it was the cam position sensor, and how to fix it. I replaced the sensor today and it was all good, the CEL went away, and the engine ran fine.

About 40 miles later, the CEL came back on. I checked the code again (using the on-off-on-off method again) and found P0340 again, along with P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0205, P0206, P0207, P0208, P0121 and P1391.

I came back here, and found out that my throttle position sensor is throwing a code, all my injectors are throwing codes and that P1391 is associated with the original P0340.

Now, for the questions.

Do the codes clear themselves, i.e., I replaced the CMP, should the code still be coming up until i clear it with an OPD II reader, or should it have gone away with the new CMP.

Is it more likely that I have a bad ECU, or that all of my injectors, my throttle position sensor, and my cam position sensor went out at once.

The car still runs, it just has tiny little burps in power.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. If this has already been posted before, I'm sorry, but I didnt find it.

Just took a trip to the store and the CEL never came on, engine ran great. As this has been a common occurrence, maybe a poor connection with the ECU is to blame I'll check it out in the morning.

Or, the ECU is just failing. I dont think all 8 injectors, the throttle position switch and the cam position switch are capable of failing together and repairing themselves in random succession.

The codes will stay on until you clear them with a reader. I suggest you install the new parts and then clear the CEL.
