I'm scouring junk yards online right now. The 2001 Mopar Accesories brochure has the following in it:

Skid plate- transfer case 82205937 $48.00
Skid plate- front suspension 82205936 $115.00

Here is a photo from Mopar, a bit small though:

That looks just like what is on my 1998. The thicker one goes up front to the engine crossmember (attached with 3 bolts) the the 2 arms go toward the back of the oil pan and that skinny one is a cross member that is bolted to the framd then bolts to the skid plate (larger one) with 2 bolts on each arm for a total of 7 bolts. I'm not sure what those plates are on the left that look like a T?

There is still no transfer case skid plate under there. The skids cover the oil pan and front differential but other than that it stops shy of the transfer case.

Dan<------ Those skids should be metal not plastic!

I beg to differ oh great moderator! I've been under her quite a few times and I have to say, the plates are made of thick heavy plastic. How do I know this? Well for one thing, the bottom right bolt hole of the first plate has snapped and is still helping to keep the plate in place along with the other two bolts. I believe I have four bolts holding up the first plate. OR... I may be thinking of something else entirely! The thing I'm talking about has access holes for the oil plug and filter. If I'm wrong, sorry.

dan i think i know what you are talking about, and that is just a splash guard to keep the belt from getting wet, unfortunately, NOT a skid plate

Errr!

Dan is 100% right.

2000+ Ds went to a LARGER and SUPERIOR skid plate made of PLASTIC verses that on the early Ds that was a smaller metal version.

This larger one is/was MY stocker. It now resides on a nice Bronze Durango in New Jersey that didn't have skids from the factory. Mine is absent any pending time for me to put the little metal one on that is on the photo from a donor '98 D.

I left the fuel tank and the third plastic skid under there in place. I only removed the front one due to a clearance with my PPH header Y-pipe issue.

If they did, I'm sure Indy will find it!
