01 durango not starting, checked battery & alternator an its not that, please help!!

they may have SEEMED tight and clean, but if there was corrosion btwn the contacts you would not be able to see that, and loosening the bolts holding the contacts in or pulling them apart would break the corrosion off and you would NEVER KNOW it was there, that is probably your issue
