This is why dealers price so damn high in the first place, they say 8 and you offer 7 thinking you are getting a good deal when really you arent and they know that. They probably took it in for trade at around 4-4.5K, they have to profit some plus pay for any cleaning and lot space. Start negotiating at 6K, I personally would be firm at 6K and walk away if they tried to haggle with me anymore.

Do not let them know you are in love with this particular truck because then they will know they can fight with you on price because this is the one truck you want. A customer in love with one vehicle is a salesmans best friend. I cant blame you if you love the truck though, I love my 01 RT.

Something doesnt look right in the front, i cant tell exactly with those pictures. Take a quick look at it in person and inspect the engine bay/wheel wells for anything suspicious

I agree with duranged408! That radiator support looks like something a body shop would paint rather than how they come painted from the factory! Check all the body lines and make sure everything lines up and nothing looks suspicious to you.

Are you sure that is a 2000 R/T? Only because the 2000 models, still had the elephant ear side mirrors vs the 01-03 with the smaller mirrors. Otherwise, if you took some more pics of the interior, if it has the 2nd generation interior, it is a 01-03 model.

Otherwise, the previous owner really did some external mods. I noticed the additional decalling on the rear liftgate that did not come from factory.

???

Everything looks fine on that D. It's a 2001 or 2002. Rear interior photo clearly shows the updated interior door trim panel and those are not 6x9 dumbos or the new style 6x9s on the later 02-03s either.

Nothing out of ordinary. These are not the droids you are looking for.

Was it a late build? Look at the door for manufacture build date.

Who is OP? I don't care what they stated, those pictures of the R/T was NOT an '00.

Where did the photos go?

HS, build date does not always equal model year. My 2000 was built in 11/1999.
