Alternator broke now car won't start
This afternoon my wife called me and told me that the car wouldn't start. I jumped the car and as soon as I took the jumpers off the car stalled. The battery was dead and the alternator was not putting out. I jumped the battery with my truck for fifteen minutes, started the Durango and she drove home about five miles. This evening I replaced the alternator but the car still will not start. It has spark and 50 psi of fuel pressure, the remote for the door locks does not work. Was wondering if anybody has any idea of what the problem could be. Thanks in advance.

After banging my head on the wall a few times and freezing my --- off, I remembered about 5 years ago I had to change the controller behind the glove box because the door locks did not work and had the same problem. A friend of mine was a dodge mechanic and after playing for a ½ hour found out all we had to do was use the key and unlock the left door and the car would start. Did the same thing last night and it worked
