I have a 2000 Dodge Durango with a dead 4.7L in it. I have the opportunity to get a rolled over 2000 with a 5.9L. Are they interchangeable? What all is required?

if you do this you will also need the transmission/pcm/wireharness out of the donor truck (i think the t-case too if you have a 4x4) and you might have to fab up your own motor mounts for it, it CAN be made to work if you have the time/money to do it

 

Just rebuild your motor. That way you know what you have.
