Default What would I have to do to put 33's on the D?

Hey guys, I really want bigger tires on my 2001 4.7l slt Durango. I was thinking 33's and know that I would have to make somechanges to make 'em work. What do I need to do to make it work? thanks everyone.

i believe you need the t/s lift and a 3" body lift to make it work, but it could be just one of them, im sure duranged408 will have the definite answer for you

Well I bought the car from my dad who bought it used and I think that it might already have the t/s lift, I have 31" tires now with about 6" from the tire to the wheel well in the front and about 6 1/4" in the rear. what do you think?

Sharpy always hits it on the first try (no comment)
Durango's come stock with 31" tires (Not all).
Look at the rear shackles, if they look like mine (LOOONG) then its a T/S, the stock ones are short, you'll notice the difference. (it will not look exactly like mine- i have the 3" body lift that exposes more skin...)

To comfortly sport 33" tires you will need the t/s and body lift, the fender needs a little adjustment with a hammer but thats not hard, esp since flares cover.. When you think about it, compared to other vehicles its 3x less expensive and twice as easy...
