Hey guys I have a quick question. What would cause the oil pressure gauge to read low? its at normal pressure all the time but like once a year when im driving and im on a red light the pressure guage will go more towards the low end. but when the light turns green and i start going again the pressure will go back to normal. any thoughts about this? i can see as the pressure guage needle goes down to low but once i start driving it makes its way back up to normal.

Change the PCV valve and change over to Fully Synthetic 10W-30.

as long as its staying in the "normal" range (between the two has marks) i wouldnt really worry about it, mine wanders around in there based on how much throttle im giving it

 

oh ok, just wondering thanks. I'm planning to switch to synthetic next time i change my oil
