i have not had problems with rotors warping, as long as you replace them everytime you do the brakes, if you get them machined you will then have warping problems, but as you have said alot of people do have warping problems i attribute it to them driving too hard and stopping to quickly instead of making smooth adjustments to their speed, jmo based on what i ahve seen/read and done myself, i know that i do sometimes (ok lots of times) drive too fast, but i find that i catch myself coasting to stop signs and redlights to drop as much speed that way as possible (i ride w/ OD locked out around town so i get SOME engine braking effect to help)

I like DuraLast Gold series brakes (Auto Zone) for every application and a good set of rotors but each to their own. VERY VERY low dusting (better than regular ceramic...IMHO) and they can be used for towing and hill driving where regular ceramic fail.

The braking system was re-maped not the axle only the Knuckle and rear brakes. If you have an issue with warping check the rear adusters on 1998-2002 models and n 2003 get better pads as they have disk front and rear.

i believe 03 had the OPTION for disk front and rear, so if you have drums on an 03 check the adjusters, if you have disk go for the pads

When you do do the new brakes, make sure you get the kaleco cross-drilled brake lines! Makes a very big difference in stopping power!
