I also like to get the clear smoke taillight LED lens as well!

I was going to do the same thing not exactly that model But! Apparantly the smoked out headlights effects the brightness of the HID. (Obviously) My buddy put smoked out headlights on his Denali but it was more of show carish. He went back to clear glass for the Ricer burning headlight style.

Yeah, having smoked lenses kind defeats the purpose of having HIDs.

The ones I orded are full HID I can put any bulb up to 12K in them. Im pretty sure its the same for all headlights that say HID otherwise its just an amped up Halogen or some such thing.

I like the 1 piece set up that have a black (smoke) background but clear lenses and LED lighting. Problem is they are a bitch to install!

I agree, I like that setup too. Why so hard to install? Fitment issues or electrical? Tough to find real estate for the ballasts?
