2000 Durango Plug Wires
Well there are many symptoms that relate to plug wires. First off if you still have stock, you should replace them. I replace my distributor cap and rotor every other tune up and I you replace your wires with good quality ones, you shouldn't have to replace them very often.
The distributor is behind the engine and its where all the plug wires join up. For the 5.2 you need to get a wire package for it that consists of 9 wires. It will have 8 wires that go from distributor to plugs and on for the ignition coil. MSD 8.5mm is the best you can get with a stock build and costs around $95.

Well he has a 5.9L turbo charged Shelby Durango: Vehicle: Dodge Durango Shelby SP360
Anyway, you should replace the spark plug wires at around 60,000 miles and you should also replace the Distributor Cap and Rotor.
Bad wires or bad connections in the distributor will give you a stutter or engine shake at idle, ping, and low performance and fuel mileage.

I think to change to myself wires and the distributor + Blaster
Long time went by bad plugs - I think the distributor has suffered.

Well I personally would go with MSD because MSD s a proven product and they stand behind their products.
Accel coils have been known to just up and die and really aren't a good product....IMHO....However, MSD now owns Accel so I don't know what quality changes have been made after they bought them out. Regardless, you are going to get a sure fire coil and a hotter spark without overly damaging the OEM style Champion Copper spark plugs. I would buy Champion Truck Plugs and gap them at .042 before installation.
The other thing you have to think about is;
You have a super charger! With a Super Charger most of the time you want a cooler spark not a hot spark, with that said I would do the MDS hands down!
