Hello, ok, in my 99 slt 5.9 4x4, am i correct in saying i have a 9.25 rear with limited slip? Also what is the gear ratio? The tags on my hood and glove box are blank!

Its impossible for any of us to tell you what you have! 3.55s are the standard ratio with 3.92s as an option. Limited slip was also an option. If you have the tow package, you likely have limited slip.

If you want to know for sure what you have, jack up the rear axle and spin one tire... if the other spins the same direction, you have limited slip, if the other spins the other direction, you have an open diff. There should be a tag on you differential cover that says the ratio, otherwise you need to take the cover off and look what is stamped on the ring gear.

Ok, i do have a limited slip then, also the factory towing package so according to the owners manuel, the 5.9 has the 9.25, now no tag was found, so still not sure on the gear ratio. But thankyou for your help so far!

If it has Limited slip (including factory tow package) then it is a Chrysler 9.25 Trac-Lok Limied Slip rear end and will have 3.92 gearing.
