Default 98 durango, how to remove splash shield

Silly question. Hopefully easy to answer. I have a 98 5.2 durango 4x4. I'm trying to remove the splash shield underneath to get to a power steering hose and I see it's connected with flat round black plastic fasteners.... How do I remove these??? I've applied quite a bit of pressure to the point of breaking with no luck. Can they be reused or do they just break and you have to use new ones? What are they called anyway? hard to do a google search when I don't know what to call them.

Thanks!

Flat tip screwdriver and pry hard. They are the same type as the ones that hold door panels in, just bigger.
