Lower speeds on Fan for 2001 Durango
I have a 2001 Durango and the bottom speeds on the fan don't work.
I just figure it is a fuse. I looked at the cover of the fuse box and don't know which
fuse to check
I see things like CTM, EBL, Hevac Fan
I need help
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thank you

Warrenainley,
Had the same problem a couple of months ago (only work on High)... It was the resistor pack, mounted in the blower housing (above the passangers feet). Very easy to change. disconnect the plug (has about 5 wires), back out the 2 scews (8mm socket, if I remember correctly). pull out resistor pack. install new resistor pack in reverse order... I believe it was this site I found nice detailed instructions and pics on how to.?.?
Best of luck.

I replaced a few of them and this seems only to affect 01 models. Never seen this problem on any model other than 2001. The price for the resistor pack is somewhere around $13-$15 bucks from the dealership. Easy to install. You may need to get a u-joint shaft for your socket set to get to the two 7-8mm screws to take out the resistor pack.
