Default no bus?? Why will the engine not start

Hello fellow dodge fans. I have a 2001 durango slt. I have the bouncing rpm problem and the engine has stalled once. Most recently though the engine will not start. I took it to my local trusted mechanic that has worked on the majority of my vehicals that i was unable to fix myself. He was unable to fix and advised me to take it to a dealer. The dealer has charged me for one hour of diagnosing and wants three more hours to figure out the problem. That leads me to my question. The dealer says they need to check wiring sense the vehical is not registuring it's ID, the modules are not talking to Buss, and they seem not programmed to the vehical. I am sold that the pcm is bad but i can't confirm it and they are not that cheap. my ctm is good and i say that because the features that i know it controls were working fine. Before i had the idle problem i notice a lose neg conection on my battery. I tightened that and my problem began. Is three more hours of looking at my vehical realistic? Any advice would be great and have a good day.

Another week without my durango. Maybe Someone can help these techs at the dealership. They looked over the wiring and found nothing. They replaced the pcm and found nothing. They have even replaced the ctm which they have found nothing. The vehical has memory from the last starts when it did start. I'm at a loss and i need my vehical.
