Need any help regarding switch for engaging into 4hi -4lo. When I put switch on into say the 4hi position, nothing happens it is still in 2wd. I have tried backing up into reverse and then putting the transmisson into Drive and still nada.. thanks for your help colokid

 

are the lights working on the switch? if no then you need a new switch, if yes crawl under the truck and check for any loose wires on the t-case, if they are all good have someone turn the switch while you are under the truck and listen to see if the motor activates, if not then probably a bad motor, but there is also a tccm recall for 01 durangos where the tccm(transfer case control module) goes bad and the dealer will replace it if you bring it in and are covered by the recall(unless it has been done already)
