Default 02 4.7 durango dies when stops

my 02 dodge durango 4.7 4x4 dies when you stop fast or normally if you graduly roll it wont die i have tried replacing the iac air filter was replaced to me it almost seems like the ecm isnt compinsating for the load any ideas?

Could be a fuel pump cut off relay going out. Replace it in the PDC (Power Distrubution Center) under the hood.


An ECM is a Ford computer, PCM is a Dodge computer.

IAC cleaned, TPS replaced, Battery tested.

I doubt a relay would fail at all times except under a gradual roll. You can test by pulling the other like it next to it in the PDC. My fog light relay matches. Makes for an easy test and easier way to eliminate a relay.

the iac was replaced and while doing so i cleand out the whole housing and the battary is a new duralast professonal battery and im with you i dont think its the relay but i will swap it and see if it will work on a diffrent circut.
