the 2wd trucks dont have torsion bars, they have coil springs in the front suspension

Default Lifting not Lowering

Ok ive been talked into lifting it instead of lowering it. I need some help and resources on what products and websites to order from. I also have no idea what a T/S Lift is. MoparMan, i like the height of your Durango, what mods did you do? Also mine is a 2WD so im sure the process might be different.
Any suggestion are welcome!!

I bought this last fall. Great truck for the money. I live in Northern Michigan and I have NEVER had a truck that was so good in the snow. I bought this as a winter beater. But I have grown to love this thing!! I want to do some inexpensive DIY up grades. Any suggestions?

Well, for 4x4 models, there's the Torsion/Shackle lift - good for roughly 2". I suggest getting some clear headlight housings, and also some nerf bars. If you like it loud you can cut out the old muffler and have a glasspack welded in, or a good high flow muffler of whatever brand. Something else I did was removed the old flat polished wheel center caps, and replaced them with the chrome 3D caps from a dodge ram. Define "inexpensive", it's very subjective to your own opinion. And if you have the towing package, it should have a secondary external transmission cooler with an electric fan, you can remove your thermal clutch fan and throw it in the back just in case you ever need it. It will free up a few ponies and allow the engine to rev a lot easier too.

Looks good! What's the deal with the random chrome strip down the sides?

Honestly I don't know the guy I bought it from bought it like that. Maybe some old dealer option. I want to remove it, just need a good battle plan first so I don't make too much of a mess.

EDIT: Theyre called chrome rocker panels. Found a couple articles on em, ill remove them asap!

I think those are like that aftermarket trim that it glued on, definitely not my style or taste though. Hope you can get them off easily without too much trouble!

Or plasti-dip them and maybe the bumpers? Might look nice.
