Default Flex Plate Clicking Noise

I have a loud clicking noise that seems to accelerate in speed as I go faster and gets to the point where I cannot hear it at all at highway speed. I have a new Jasper transmission and this noise started after the install. I am being told it is a cracked flex plate? Can anyone tell me if this is the noise that a cracked flex plate would make.

It all depends on the condition, but most mention groans-howling/rocks in a barrel/rod knock etc etc. If your transmission was recently replaced the cracked flexplate (if cracked) could of been caused by loose bolts/no locktite/not torqued, unbalanced converter, grinding starter, crankshaft moving/sliding. But being that you had the trans replaced i'd say loosebolts/converter initial cause, most likely by the installers... Check your warrantee
